2 weeks to go!

I leave 2 weeks from today. I am so excited, like you could not believe. I still have many things i need to get before I leave. I already have: State ID, hair appointment, contacts ordered, and my glasses fixed. But I still need to get: my camera (Canon SD1200), dress clothes, dress shoes, sandals, beach towels, things to keep myself entertained on the plane, and a debit card.

School isn't even over, yet. Ew. I have exams on Tuesday and Wednesday. I also have to play at graduation today, which if you have ever been there, is probably the most boring event, ever. And I have to sit there for hours in this ugly Bavarian peasant woman outfit and play Pomp & Circumstance over and over. If that isn't torture, I don't know what is.

First Post!

My mom has requested that I keep a blog for when I leave on my 5-week long vacation to Maui, HI, from June 21st - July 26th. So here you are mom :) I'm still in Michigan, and school has not ended yet (unfortunately). Lately it has been cool, like in the 60's, but I would like it to be warmer. The trees have just now begun bloom and such. I am just itching for the summertime.

Well now I am just thinking about what I need to take on my trip. I definitely need to go clothes shopping. I recently got some slick shades. I need to remember to order a contacts supply. The number one item on my list is a new digital camera. I the digital camera I have now is relatively old, chunky, and has a bit of noise in the pictures it takes. I want like a compact/subcompact type, which more features than a point and shoot. I want either the Olympus Stylus 1010 or Nikon CoolPix S610. I tend to take a lot of pictures, so a new camera is a must!

Of course, it is Sunday and I should be doing homework or be working on my H. English project due Friday?, but whatever.
